The beautiful yet unusual language of Art!

What is Art? If not the strangest and most real human emotions put together!

Where do you seek your freedom when you feel caged? Or when your emotions aren't appreciated enough? Most of you would have replied with something you love doing in your pastime, like singing, playing an instrument, crafting, writing, painting, etc.

Not many would have noticed this until today that, when we are hurt we seek solace in art! Art is therapeutic for our overbearing emotions. Art ground us! It gives us hope that, even if our feelings are not valued in this vast cosmos, they can always return to their home to their artistic medium.

Before we dive deeper, let me make this clear that this blog post is not an emotional address to art. This is to bring you close to the crazy world of creativity.

Below we present you a gallery of art from around the world, which are beautiful yet unusual.

1. Gyotaku

Gyotaku is a traditional Japanese fish printing art form. It involves pressing a freshly caught fish onto a piece of paper, then painting over the print with ink to create a colorful and lifelike image.

Fish Hunting> Forming Art > Frying. Understand the chronology.

2. Body Fluid Art

Shock art or transgressive art is the most prevalent genre in which body fluids like blood, urine, feces, etc. are occasionally used to create art.

Painting, created using semen and human blood. Men and women putting blood, sweat, and tears into their art – literally

3. Dirty Car Art

Scott Wade, also known as the "DaVinci of Dirt" founded the Dirty car art. Ironically, Wade starts off by cleaning the windshield and then uses a blow dryer to apply an even coat of dust to his canvas.

Wanna try your hand at this art? Look for a possible canvas for the same in your neighborhood.

4. Feather Art

Kate McGwire in his strange creation meticulously moulded pigeon feathers together to produce stunning pieces of art. 100 on creativity, minus on emotions. Animal art should be a big NO!!

No Animals were harmed during the creation of this art???

5. Human Flowers

Cecelia Webber came up with this most interesting idea that uses people as the medium. Often, the people are arranged in flower-like formations, and their bodies are used to create beautiful patterns and shapes.

Beautiful humans, truly!

In the Heart of Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh: Lessons from the Land and Its People (Part 1)

Jhabua, nestled in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, is a region that embodies the spirit of simplicity, warmth, and resilience. Having visited this beautiful district twice, I’ve come to cherish the connections I’ve built with its people, the Bhil community. Their hospitality, rich culture, and profound knowledge of the land never cease to amaze me. Every visit leaves me with new learnings and a deeper appreciation for their way of life. One of the highlights of my trips has always been staying with the tribal Bhil families in rural Jhabua. There is something uniquely grounding about living amidst nature, surrounded by people who live in harmony with their environment. Their food, for instance, is a testament to their simplicity and love. The large makka ki roti, made from locally grown maize and served with affection, is a meal that warms both the heart and the soul. The taste is enhanced not just by its freshness but by the genuine hospitality that accompanies it. These experiences, acco...

The Bhil tribe, native to the Jhabua region in Madhya Pradesh, has often been misunderstood and misrepresented. For decades, stereotypes have painted them as "dangerous" or even "uncivilized." My journey to Jhabua offered firsthand insights into the persistent prejudices faced by the Bhil community. In this blog, I discuss these challenges, shed light on the transformative work of organizations like Shivganga , and share my perspective on the path to building a more inclusive society.
