Ki Tum me ghar Milta Hai

Tujhse pehli mulaqat,

aise thi jaise kisi anjane sheher mein

achanak apni gali ka koi mil jaaye.

Jese kandhe par tasalli ka haath rkh ke koi kaan me fusfusaye

 "Yeh teri jagah hai."

Tere saath,

main apna wazan utaar deti hoon,

vo jo roz ki fikron ka bhaar leke me chalti hoon,

Darwaze pe chhod ke tujhse milti hoon

Tere alfazon mein,

ek chulhe ka garam dhuaan hai,

 jo sardiyon ki shaam mein

 hathon ko sekta hai.

 Tere khamoshi mein,

Jese Ghar ki chhat pe tehlne se milne wala sukoon hai,

Log kehte hain,

 ghar ek imaarat hota hai,

 lekin mujhe pata hai

 ghar ek dil hota hai,

jo tumne mere liye khol rakha hai.

Tum meri dehleez ho,

 jahan se main har baar

 nayi umeed lekar nikalti hoon

 aur jahan laut kar

thakawat se gir jaati hoon,

befikr, bina dare.

Aur shayad isi liye,

 jab duniya ke raste

 thode kathin ho jaate hain,

main tumhari taraf dekh kar kehti hoon —

"Ki tum me ghar milta hai."

In the Heart of Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh: Lessons from the Land and Its People (Part 1)

Jhabua, nestled in the heart of Madhya Pradesh, is a region that embodies the spirit of simplicity, warmth, and resilience. Having visited this beautiful district twice, I’ve come to cherish the connections I’ve built with its people, the Bhil community. Their hospitality, rich culture, and profound knowledge of the land never cease to amaze me. Every visit leaves me with new learnings and a deeper appreciation for their way of life. One of the highlights of my trips has always been staying with the tribal Bhil families in rural Jhabua. There is something uniquely grounding about living amidst nature, surrounded by people who live in harmony with their environment. Their food, for instance, is a testament to their simplicity and love. The large makka ki roti, made from locally grown maize and served with affection, is a meal that warms both the heart and the soul. The taste is enhanced not just by its freshness but by the genuine hospitality that accompanies it. These experiences, acco...
